ElyARC Events
Our next event is being held from 7pm on April 30th 2026 in St Mary's Church, Ely, CB7 4HF.
Come and meet in person to chat all about making our Ely community stronger and more resilient. It's a great chance to share your ideas, meet neighbours, and get involved. Don't miss out on shaping the future together!
We are in the final stages of drafting our 32-page household resilience handbook based on best advice from around the world, covering emergencies, shortages, power cuts and more.
We want to build a resilient community across Ely and the surrounding area based on resilient households and links between all the voluntary groups and volunteers who always step-up when the need is there.
We aim to plan in advance, identify resources, people and skills so when the need comes, we have what we need and know how to do it. Being prepared saves time and energy and dispels fear and worry.
We'll start with a brief presentation to set the scene, followed by questions and answers then a call for volunteers and plenty of time for networking afterwards.
There's no fee for attending but we are hugely indebted to St Mary's church for offering their facilities. If you can afford to make a donation towards the upkeep of the premises, a cash gift at the end of the meeting would be hugely appreciated.
If you can attend please register for a free ticket from Eventbrite.
